Some Landscapes

 

 I thought I would post some landscapes because people asked me if I did landscapes, which I found funny.  I usually do my landscapes plein air instead of in the studio, but here is a sampling of both and you can have the fun of figuring out which ones were done in the studio or outside, or a combination of both.

 

 

 

 

 

I still need help placing type on the page; somehow they go out of the way to make it difficult, or my brain is just fried.

Model plus Imagination

 

 

 

 

 

Ok, had this painting around for awhile before I finished it.  Like the pose, relaxing pose,  the model was the nephew of a friend of mine.  It is oil, the only posed part was the model.  I listen to the painting and came out with the foreground, background, boats, the whole environment.  Thought ya'll might like to see what can happen if you just let your mind and feelings go and just let the painting dictate your moves.
